Ingredients:

1 (16-ounce) jar CHI-CHI'S® Thick & Chunky Salsa Mild

2 tablespoons lime juice

1 tablespoon chopped fresh sage

1 tablespoon tequila, if desired

4 (about 6 ounces each) portions carne asada

3/4 cup shredded Co-Jack cheese

Directions:

1) Heat broiler.

2) In medium saucepan, combine salsa, lime juice, sage and tequila. Cook and stir over medium heat until heated through.

3) Broil steaks 6 inches from heat source 4 to 5 minutes on each side for medium-rare doneness. Spoon hot salsa over steaks; sprinkle with cheese.
